I finished the book last night, and I really liked it. My plan was to read it closer to the meeting date. I did start it later than I usually do, but as Sherry said, it is a real page turner and I read it in about three readings. I learned more about the WWII era and found out more things that I didn't know about. The last two books have provided interesting information about a time that I think most of us don't know too much about. Overall, this was a somewhat sad book, so I would like to read something more "light" for the summer. Still don't have any recommendations from anyone. When I say "light", I don't mean mindless. I would love to read something with a great story and good character development, but maybe not so "heavy" a topic as we have been reading. What do you think? I am also going to be interested in what you thought about the ending of this book. See you soon.

AuthorI like to think that I can't be described in a short paragraph. Some adjectives: curious, caring, kind, generous, excitable, motivated, emotional, fun, organized. What do you think? Claire Archives
