Not much to be said about September book

We had a small crowd last night, but all agreed that we did not enjoy the book.  The words used to describe it were rambling, unusual, stupid, and wordy.  It really didn't make a lot of sense, and didn't appear to try to answer the question that it posed - divine intervention or coincidence?  It was a mess, and we questioned what criteria is used to win a Pulitzer Prize.  I started the book Olive Kitteridge, which is also a Pulitzer Prize winner, but I don't know if I will bother finishing it.  There are too many other books to read that sound a lot better.

I think the highlight of the evening was getting a chance to see the kitties.  They are absolutely adorable and Grace, the mom, was very nice about letting us look at them and hold them.  I can't stop playing with them or just sitting there watching them.  They are starting to develop personalities now, and are trying to walk.  They are balancing on the legs, but are still rather wobbly.  They can move a few steps at a time, and are making great progress.

I like to think that I can't be described in a short paragraph.  Some adjectives:  curious, caring, kind, generous, excitable, motivated, emotional, fun, organized. What do you think?    Claire
