Thanks and Link for Conference

Thank you so much for the wonderful evening Thursday. I had so much fun and I hope you did too. The food was DELICIOUS and I will post the recipes if you want to send them to me. I tasted everything (probably more than once) and loved it all.

I opened some of the presents left over from "Dirty Santa" today, and three of the really good presents were still left in the wrapped boxes!! There may have been more shifting around if these had been discovered. I guess my lesson to learn is to only have the amount of presents as guests. I thought it would give us a bigger selection.

I was a little apprehensive about how it would all fall into place last night, but I definitely think it was a good idea and much better than going to a restaurant. Maybe everyone will want to do it again next December!

Below is the link that will give you information about the Project Linus conference in Philadelphia in June. A few people asked about it last night. Amy and I are going and have already sent in our forms (we are hoping that one of us will win the IPAD). Anyway, I think it would be great if any of you decide to come along. They will release the names of the various classes in January, so I will send that information later. Think about it. I know it will be FUN. We are a good group together.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and take a break from crocheting at least until January or February. I am getting ready to start the January book. Thank you Sherry for lending it to me.

I downloaded another free book onto my Kindle today and two more games - Mahjong and Yatzee. So far I have 7 books and 3 games and I have only paid $4.00 for the total of all of them. I don't know which one is more fun - learning how to use the Kindle, or feeling like I am getting such a bargain on all of the items! I can't wait to hear what Amy has to say about Dogwood.   Again, thank you so much for coming last night and making it such a special evening. You are all such a great group of wonderful, fun, caring friends. See you soon.

I would like to think that I can't be described in a short paragraph.  Some adjectives that come to mind:  curious, caring, kind, generous, excitable, motivated, emotional, fun, organized. What do you think?    Claire
